Verizon Samsung Galaxy S10 5G gets April 2021 Security Patch update

After the Galaxy S10, the 5G variant of Verizon Galaxy S10 smartphones has started picking a new update with the April 2021 Security Patch. The latest update bears the software version RP1A.200720.012.G977UVRU6FUCD, and already many of them have started receiving it.

Coming to the changelog, the new update brings new features, and it may also include fixes for prominent issues, enhancements, improvements to system & applications, etc. The update adds new features like Pro Mode – Ultra Wide and Auto Night Mode. However, for a piece of precise information, we have dropped the changelog below.

    Ultra wide lens is now available in Pro and Pro Video camera modes.
  • Auto Night Mode
    Photo, Portrait, and Hyperlapse camera modes now automatically detect low light conditions and turn on Night mode for optimal quality.

Note: The company is sending the update in batches. Hence, you may need to wait for at least one week to receive the update as it needs to be verified. However, the Verizon Galaxy S10 5G users will receive a notification automatically if the update reaches their device. Alternatively, you can also head over to settings>Software updates>Check for the updates.
