We didn’t hear any new software updates from Verizon and a few other network carriers in recent times. However, now Verizon is back into the form, and it has already started rolling out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy Tab A (8.4-inch). According to the release note, the update also includes the June 2021 Security Patch and brings the latest Android OS 11, with new features including One UI 3.1 and Quick Share enhancements. It also houses enhancements to Quick Share for easily sharing files to other Android devices.
The firmware must include a few Android 11 key features like Conversation notifications, Notification history, Chat bubbles, Media controls, screen recorder, Smart device controls, etc. Besides, the new One UI 3.1 improves user interaction for Quick Panel, Toolbars, Notifications, Settings, and more. After installing the update, you will be able to notice all the changes.
Galaxy Tab A (8.4-inch) Specifications
The tablet hosts an 8.4-inch TFT display paired with 1200 x 1920 pixels of resolution and 270 ppi density. Under the hood, there’s a 1.8 GHz Octa-core processor.
