The Verizon-based Samsung Galaxy S9 Series have begun picking a new update with the February 2021 Security Patch. The update shows up on the build number QP1A.190711.020.G960USQS9FUB2 for the Galaxy S9 and the QP1A.190711.020.G965USQS9FUB2 for the Galaxy S9+ users.

As stated by the release note, there’s the same old thing in this update apart from the most recent Security patch. So, this update is implied distinctly to bring bug fixes for experienced issues, upgrades, and enhancements. With the bug fixes and the latest security patch, the smartphone’s performance is expected to be improved.
The company is pushing the updates in a phased manner, and hence, users need to wait for a few days to experience the new update. You can also head over to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to manually check the update status in the interim. Also, make sure to maintain at least 60% of charging before update to avoid unnecessary interruptions.

Galaxy S9 houses a 5.8-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Whereas the Galaxy S9+ sports a 6.2-inch display with 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Both the devices are powered by Exynos 9810 (10 nm) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (10 nm) Chipset.
