Samsung’s voice assistant Bixby is not popular as Google Assistant and Apple Siri. But, it has many features to explore, and many of them love using them compared to others. Samsung has begun rolling a new update to the Bixby app with the build number v3.0. The latest update adds support for the English (India) Language and brings a couple of new features.
Bixby appears on Indian smartphones with a new avatar to introduce “English (India)” capability. The latest update lets users understand Indian Names, Places, Relationships, Contents, Recipes, and much more quickly. Apart from this, the Bixby can assist you with several things like – Start a Yoga timer for your daily yoga routine, check the weather for the day in your city (Bengaluru), Call Maa or Bhaiya on your way to work, sharpen your culinary skills with the recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala. To do all of these actions, you just need to ask Bixby.
Here are a few examples that you can ask Bixby to do it for yourself.
- Start a yoga timer
- Check the weather for Indian cities
- Call Relationships by giving Indian relationship names
- Ask for Indian Recipes
The app is presently available only for the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy A52, and Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphones. In the future, we can expect a wider release to the other eligible smartphones. The update should have already reached your device. However, a notification will arrive if the update reaches your smartphone. Below are a few steps to enable the “English (India)” on the Bixby App on the Bixby application.
