Samsung launches Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G at a starting price of $349

Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 lightweight notebooks. The company has now introduced the Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G laptops today. The new laptops were expected to dispatch along with the Galaxy Book Pro Series last month, but unfortunately, Samsung has skipped the launch. The Highlights include Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, 5G connectivity, Windows 10 OS, FHD TFT display.

In dimensions, the Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G measures 323.9 x 224.8 x 14.9mm, and it weighs almost 1.38kg. The laptop sports a 14-inch TFT FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the 4G model is powered by an octa-core processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 Chipset paired with Adreno 618 GPU. In contrast, the Qualcomm 8cx Gen 2 CPU powers the laptop with Adreno GPU.

The Galaxy Book Go comes with 4/8GB (LPDDR4X) of RAM and 64/128GB (eUFS) internal storage on the board. The laptop boots with Windows 10 Home/Pro OS out of the box. The other features include a 720p HD Camera, Digital Mic, Dolby Atmos speakers, etc.

The Galaxy book Go is backed by a 42.3Wh (Typical) battery packed with a 25W USB Type-C Fast Charger. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, USB Type-C (2), USB 2.0 (1), 3.5mm audio jack, MicroSD slot, Nano-SIM, etc.

  • The Galaxy Book Go is priced at USD 349 (approx Rs 25,500), and the price may vary based on the variants.
  • The laptop comes only in the Silver colour variant, and it will be available for purchase in the next few days in the selected markets. At the same time, the 5G variant of the Galaxy Book Go will be available later this year.
