With the new app, you will be able to decorate the free space around you with 3D text, brushes, GIFs, and more. Interestingly, the AR content you place initially in the free area will be able to access for upto 30 days, and you can revisit it and make the changes anytime using the Canvas application and point the camera at the respective location.

At present, the AR Canvas application is available only for the selected Galaxy devices. The lineup includes the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A71 5G, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10+, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy A80, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Nonetheless, we can expect a wider release shortly.

Users need to give access to the Camera, location, mic, and Storage to use the AR Canvas application on the eligible smartphones. In order to use this application, navigate to the Samsung Galaxy App Store and download the AR Canvas app. After downloading, open the application & choose your device, and tap on the ‘+’ icon at the bottom right corner of the screen to create the AR scenes.

Apart from these, the app also contains the editing option at which you will be able to edit the snaps by adding 3D text, 2D images, GIFs, and paint freehand. For a precise piece of clear information, the screenshots of the app are dropped below.
