Shortly after releasing a couple of new updates to the Galaxy A8 (2018), Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Fold, and other devices, Samsung has begun cultivating the One UI 3.1 update Galaxy Z Fold2 users.

What’s new?
As per the release note, the update comes with improvements for Multitasking, Simplify Everyday Interactions, Natural and Comfortable Visual Experiences, and more. Apart from the new changes, it might also feature the latest security patch, bug fixes, improvements, etc.
Easy Multitasking
The latest update makes Multitasking Made Easy for the Galaxy Z Fold2 users. You can now quickly return up to three previously opened Multi-Active Windows from the home screen or the Recents tab. Users will also be able to move the two Multi-Active Windows from the home screen to the Cover Screen with the help of the Recents tab.
Simplify Everyday Interactions
After installing this update, users longer need to use the power button to turn off the screen. You can lock the phone quickly with a touch of the palm or a double-tap by enabling the ‘Palm touch to turn off screen’ feature from settings.
Apart from these, the update also packs with flexibilities to the Camera app. In the shooting mode, the camera icons positions can be dragged and moved to some other location for better comfortability. The company has added the Delete and Share button to the preview window in Flex mode.
The update also brings the redesigned vertical volume slider, allowing you to quickly decrease the volume of calls, media, and others.
The update is rolling out in a phased way, and the users may need to wait for a few days to undergo it. You can also check the update status manually by heading over to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates. Also, make sure to maintain at least 60% of charging before updating to avoid carries data charges.
