Earlier this month, the different Galaxy Watches have experienced a couple of new updates. Now, again, Samsung has started rolling out new updates to the Galaxy Watch3 and Watch active2.
The Galaxy Watch3 is getting the new software update on the firmware version R840XXU1BUE3, and it is based on Tizen 5.5.0.2 version. The update is rolling out to the model number SM-R840 and SM-R850. The new firmware weighs around 73.05MB in size.
Coming to the Galaxy Watch Active2 update, the firmware version R830XXU1DUE3 can identify the update, and it is also based on Tizen 5.5.0.2 version. It is spinning out for the model numbers SM-R830 and SM-R820.
What’s new?
According to the changelog, the new updates brings a couple of improvements and changes to the system. It improves the Automatic walking/running icon display responsiveness, changes the ‘Not active time notification’ icon, and the terminal motion-related stabilization code has also been applied. Besides these, there are no new features or other changes available via this new update.
Note: The update might take sometime to appear on all the units as its the initial release. In the meantime, you can check the update manually by connecting your Galaxy Watch to your mobile or PC via Galaxy Wearable app.
