Samsung Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch 3 starts getting new software updates

Recently, a couple of Samsung devices like the Galaxy Tab Active 2, Verizon Galaxy S10 5G, and others have received multiple new updates. Now, the company has begun seeding a couple of new updates to the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch 3 devices. The Galaxy Watch is receiving the new update on the firmware version R810XXU1FUD1, and the Galaxy Watch 3’s new update bears the firmware version R840XXU1BUD1. Currently, the new updates are gradually rolling out to the respective devices in India.

What’s New/ Changed?

As mentioned in the changelog, the new updates improve the Messaging App stability, WiFi Stability, and System Stability & reliability. Besides these, there are nothing new or significant changes included in the update. For a piece of clear information, we have dropped the changelog below.

The updates may take a few days to reach the watches as they need to be verified. In the meantime, you can also check the update manually by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone and navigate to Watch software update>Download and install.
