As promised, Samsung is steering out new updates to the devices launched after 2019. The company is now sending the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 (Skin) update to the Galaxy Tab A (2019). The update is taking place on the firmware versions P205DXU5CUE3 and P205UBU5CUE2. Currently, the Android 11 firmware is spinning out in many countries, including Chile, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
Regarding the changes, the new firmware dispatches with a couple of changes and new features to the system. It enhances features like Home screen and Lock screen, Calls and chats, Pictures and Videos, Settings, Samsung Keyboard, Easy media and device control, etc.
On the other hand, the update also includes many Android 11 features like Conversation notifications, Notification history, Chat bubbles, screen recorder, Media controls, and other features. Moreover, the new update also dispatches with the May 2021 Security Patch update. The changelog of this update is as follows.
The update is spinning out in a phased manner, and it may take a few days to appear on all the devices. In the meantime, the Galaxy Tab A (2019) users can make a straightway to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates. If the update is available, then download and install it for a better experience.
