Samsung Galaxy S21 receiving March 2021 Security Patch update

Recently, Samsung has rolled out a couple of new updates to plenty of smartphones. Now, the company has begun rolling out the March 2021 Security Patch to the Galaxy S21 users. Identified by the firmware version G99x0ZHU1AUB7, it weighs nearly 387.26 MB in size, and as of now, it is currently rolling out only to Taiwan users.

What’s new?

As per the changelog, the update houses with the latest Security patch, a couple of improvements, and enhancements. Apart from these, the update doesn’t add any new features. So, this update is only meant to increase the smartphone’s Security patch level.

The company is sending the updates in a phased way, and you may need to wait for a few days to experience the update. If you are a Galaxy S21 user from Taiwan, you will be notified automatically if the update reaches your device. You can also check the update status manually by heading over to Settings>Software updates>Check for the updates.

The device sports a 6.2-inch display and is powered by an Exynos 2100 (5 nm)/ Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 (5 nm) Chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. There’s a triple rear camera and a 10-MP single front-facing camera. The device runs Android 11 based One UI 3.1 out of the box and packs a 4,000 mAh battery.
