Recently, Samsung rolled out a couple of new updates to the Galaxy F62, Galaxy S9 Series, Galaxy S10 Family, Galaxy Tab A (8.4-inch), and other devices. The company has now begun cultivating the One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy S20 Plus (SM-G985F). Identified by the build version G98xFXXU6DUB5 and it weighs nearly 1246.69MB in size.

What’s new?
The latest update for the Galaxy S20 Plus comes with the latest Security patch, improvements, new add-ons, redesigned UI, bug fixes, and other changes. It incorporates with One UI 3.1 features like bubble support, Fast access to widgets, Always-on display, Huge volume controls, Lock screen widgets, Private Share, etc. Apart from these, it enables the eSIM functionality to the Indian users. The eSIM feature is expected shortly to release shortly in other countries.

Samsung is sending the updates in a phased manner, and you may need to wait for a couple of days to experience it. If you are a Galaxy S20 Plus from India, you can head over to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to check the update status manually. Also, make sure to maintain at least 60% charging to avoid interruptions.
A day back, Samsung has announced four years of Security Patch updates to the Galaxy Z, S, Note, A, M, XCover, and Tab series. These updates can be delivered quarterly or month to month and may set aside an effort to arrive at all the users.
