After the latest Galaxy S21 Series, the Korean giant – Samsung has begun seeding out the May 2021 Security Patch update for the Galaxy Note 20 Series line up, i.e., Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. The update is carrying out on the firmware version N986BXXU2DUDA for the Galaxy Note 20 and the build number N980FXXU2DUDA for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

As stated by the changelog, apart from the latest May 2021 Security Patch, there’s nothing available or added in the new update. However, we can still expect improvements for the camera & Quick share, bug fixes, and optimizations. Nevertheless, you will be able to experience all the changes while using your device.
As always, the update is following the phased rollout, and it is expected to reach all the units in less than a week. Meanwhile, you can head over to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates manually. It is also suggested to maintain at least 60% of charging before updating to avoid unnecessary interruptions.
