Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets March 2021 Security Patch update

The Galaxy Note 20 Series’s predecessor was the first device to receive the March 2021 Security Patch. The Galaxy Note 10 now becomes the latest device to taste the same update. Identified by the firmware number N97xFXXU6FUBD for the Galaxy Note 20 and N986BXXS1DUC1 for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The update weighs around 1GB in size.

The new update for the Galaxy Note 20 features the March 2021 Security patch, Private Share, Eye Comfort Shield, and brings other minor changes. Apart from these, the update doesn’t come with any significant changes. The update might also come with fixes for known issues, improvements, and optimizations. However, you will be undergoing all the changes after downloading the update

The update is following the staggered rollout and is expected to reach all the units within a week. You can also head over to Software updates from Settings to install the update manually. If your device didn’t receive the update, then don’t get panic and be patient for a couple of days. Also, make sure to switch over to a WiFi network before updating and maintain at least 60% of charging to avoid unnecessary interruptions.
