Samsung is on a deadly streak in rolling out the security patch updates to its smartphones. Recently, the Galaxy Tab S6 Wi-Fi, Galaxy A80, Galaxy A31, and a few other smartphones have experienced new security updates. Currently, Samsung has started expanding the May 2021 Security Patch update to the Galaxy M32 5G, Galaxy M12, Galaxy A12, Gaaxy M31s, and Galaxy Note 8.

Galaxy A32 5G Update

Talking about the Galaxy M32 5G update first, the firmware version A326BXXU2AUE3 can identify the update. Presently, the update is taking place in many countries, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Myanmar (Burma). Regarding the changes, Samsung has added only stability improvements and improved the security patch level. As always, we have dropped the changelog below.

Galaxy M12 Update

Moving to the Galaxy M12 update, the May 2021 Security Patch update is rolling on the firmware variant M127FXXS2AUE1. In availability, the new firmware is currently limited to Vietnamese markets only. There’s no information accessible about the other countries right now. The new firmware includes nothing apart from the monthly security patch.

Galaxy A12 Update

A couple of weeks back, the Galaxy A12 has bagged the Android 11 update alongside April 2021 Security Patch. Now, the smartphone becomes the latest device to join the May 2021 Security Patch update batch.

The new firmware is taking place on build A125FXXU1BUE5 and is currently limited only to Saudi Arabia. However, we can expect a winder release within the next few days. The new security update improves the Call stability. As usual, we have mentioned the changelog as follows.

Galaxy M31s Update

The May 2021 Security Patch update for the Galaxy M31s is arriving on the build version M317FXXU3CUE1 is taking place only in the Russian markets. There are no changes available in this update apart from the regular monthly security patch update.

Galaxy Note 8 Update

Samsung is sending the May 2021 Security Patch update for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone users on the firmware number N950FXXUFDUE4. The update is taking place in German markets, and this update’s changelog is not available at the moment. Nonetheless, the new firmware may also incorporate bug fixes, performance improvements, and enhancements. However, you will experience the changes after installing the update.

It’s worth noting that all the updates are taking place in a phase-wise rollout. So, the update might appear today or tomorrow or next week, or sometimes next month also. In the meanwhile, the users of the above Galaxy devices can make a beeline to Settigs>Software updates and manually check for the updates.
