Samsung Galaxy M40 receiving Android 11 update

Moments after the Galaxy Tab Active 3, Samsung has begun steering out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy M40 users. The update is currently taking place in India, and currently, it is unknown whether the update includes One UI 3.0 or 3.1. However, we will update the article once we get more information.

The changelog of this update is not available right now. However, like all the other Android 11 updates, it should also come with new features like Dynamic media controls, A built-in screen recorder, a Schedule dark theme, Grant temporary permission to apps, chat bubbles, auto permissions reset, a conversations section, and much more. Apart from this, the new update might also include bug fixes for reported/known issues, optimizations, improvements for the system and applications, etc.

The Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch PLS IPS display coupled with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 ratio, and 409 PPI density. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 (11 nm) Chipset paired with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB internal storage.
