It’s been a week where we didn’t hear about any Android 11 update from Samsung. The last Android 11 update was released to the Galaxy Tab A7 LTE, Galaxy A40, Galaxy A21s, and others. At the moment, Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy M11 (SM-M115F) users. The update carries the PDA version M115FXXU2BUD8 and it is currently taking place in Vietnam, & the wider release is expected shortly.
The changelog of the update states that the new firmware equips with new features like Visual design, Better customization, Enhanced features, and others. Apart from this it brings enhancements for Home screen & Lock screen, Calls & chats, Pictures & videos, Settings, Samsung Keyboard, Productivity, Easy media and device control, etc. After installing the update, you will be noticing all the changes.
The update bumps the devices’ version from One UI 2.5 to One UI 3.1 directly. In the meantime, it has skipped the One UI 3.0 Skin update. The latest firmware might also dispatch with One UI 3.1 features like Multi-mic recording, Eye comfort shield, Private Share, Touch autofocus and auto exposure controller, etc.
As always, Samsung is sending the update in batches, and users need to wait for a few days or weeks to experience the update. However, you can also steer to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates. It is also recommended to maintain a minimum of 60% charging before updating to prevent carrier data charges.
