The update for Galaxy J8 is rolling on the firmware J810GDDS5CUD1 and weighs about 114.73 MB in size. Both the updates are taking place in Indian markets, and there’s no information available about other countries. If we go ahead with the changelog, updates for both devices appear only with the April 2021 Security patch. Besides that, there are no more changes present in this new update. As the update size is also smaller, we can’t expect any more things.

As always, the company is turning out the updates in a phase-wise manner. Once the update gets verified, it will be slowly available to all the users. In the meantime, users can unlock their device and make a way to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates.
