In recent days, a huge list of Samsung devices has experienced different Security Patches. The Galaxy Fold has now begun acquiring the May 2021 Security Patch update. Identified by the build version F907NKOU3EUD7 is rolling out at the moment in South Korea. We can expect a wider release in more countries shortly.

As mentioned in the release note, the update packs with the same changelog of the previous May 2021 Security Patch. It houses a new security patch, brings improvements for the Quick Share function, camera usability, including a few other changes. The changelog of this update is dropped below.

As the update is following the staggered rollout, it takes a week to reach all the units. If you are a Galaxy Fold user from South Korea, a notification appears on your device automatically when the update reaches your smartphone. However, users can also head to Settings> software updates and check for the updates.
Samsung Galaxy Fold Specifications
Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold in 2019 with a 7.3-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED display, a 4.6-inch Cover display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) Chipset. In terms of camera, there’s a 12-MP + 12-MP + 16-MP triple rear camera, a 10-MP + 8-MP dual selfie camera, and a 10-MP Cover camera. The device comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. On the top, it runs Android 9.0 (Pie) and packs a 4,380 mAh battery.
