Last month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy M32 in Indian markets at a base price of Rs. 14,999. And now, the company has added a new smartphone in its ‘F Series’ named Galaxy F22. The key highlights of the new smartphone include a 6.4-inch HD+ display, quad rear camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and so on.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy F22 carries a price tag of Rs. 12,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant. Whereas the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration is priced at Rs. 14,499. The smartphone is available for purchase in two colors: Denim Blue and Denim Black.
The sale of the device will start from July 13 at 12 PM (noon) IST via Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store. As the launch offer, Samsung is providing Rs. 1,000 off on prepaid transactions in Flipkart.
Galaxy F22 Specifications
Forthcoming to the specs, the phone hosts a 6.4-inch HD+ sAMOLED Infinity-U display coupled with 700 x 1600 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC powers the device with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. Moreover, the storage can also be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card slot.
Concerning the camera department, Samsung has added a quad rear camera and a 13-MP single selfie camera inside a waterdrop-style notch. The rear camera includes the combination of a 48-MP main camera, an 8-MP ultra-wide camera, a 2-MP macro lens, and a 2-MP depth sensor.
Out of the box, the Galaxy F22 runs Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1 (Skin) on the top. The device is backed by a 6,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 25W. Connecitiy options of the board include Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, 4G LTE, WiFi, etc. Additionally, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone measures 159.9 x 74.0 x 9.3 mm and weighs almost 203 grams.
