Recently, the Galaxy A8 (2018) has secured the May 2021 Security Patch update. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has now started acquiring the April 2021 Security patch update. The update is rolling out in different regions with various firmware versions.

As stated by the changelog, the new firmware appears only with the April 2021 Security Patch update. There’s no more available part from that. However, we can expect minor bug fixes, improvements, etc. For a piece of precise information, we have dropped the changelog below.
The OTA update may take time to reach all the devices as it needs to get verified. To manually check the update, make a beeline to Settings>About>Software updates and check for the updates.
