A day back, Samsung has confirmed the arrival of Galaxy A82 on its software updates page. Days before, Samsung has launched a new smartphone in South Korea named Galaxy Quantum 2. As per the recent rumors, the Galaxy Quantum 2 will be launched Globally as the Galaxy A82 5G.

Samsung has recently added the Galaxy A82 5G under the current models for the Quarterly Security updates. As per the sources, the Galaxy A52 and A72 are currently receiving monthly security patch updates. So, Samsung is planning to release the security updates quarterly for the Galaxy A82 5G.

As stated by the sources, the device measures 61.9×73.8×8.1 mm and weighs almost 176 grams. There’s a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and WQHD + resolution.
Under the hood, the phone might be powered by a Snapdragon 855+ Chipset. It is expected to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Furthermore, it also comes with microSD card support. The device comes with a 4,500mAh battery, including 25W fast charging support. There’s also an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
Moreover, it comes with a 10-MP selfie camera under the Infinity-O hole. The device is also expected to come with autofocus support. On the rear side, it equips a triple rear camera, which assembles with a 64-MP primary camera (f/1.8), 12-MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2), and lastly, there’s a 5-MP Macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4 lens.
