In the past days, we have seen Samsung rolling out new software updates to a couple of smartphones, including Galaxy M51, Galaxy A30s, and a few other devices. The company has now started updating the Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A31 smartphones to the May 2021 Security Patch.

Galaxy A80 Update

The new update for the Galaxy A80 is taking place on the firmware variant A805NKSUZDUE1, and it weighs almost 478.45MB in size. In changes, Samsung has Improved the Quick Share function, and the Application of stabilization code related to terminal operation has been applied. Theres’ no more available in this new firmware apart from the changes as mentioned above.

Galaxy A31 Update

In contrast, the Galaxy A31 update holds the build number A315NKSU1CUE2 and weighs 348.01MB. Both the updates are currently taking place only in Korean markets. The Galaxy A31 update also incorporates improvements for the Quick Share feature and Message function update. The Application of stabilization code related to terminal security has also been applied. That’s all about the new May 2021 Security Patch update.

The OTA updates will always be sent in batches. So, it generally takes a few days or a week to appear on all the devices. In the meantime, users can also make a beeline to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates.
