Samsung Galaxy A8+ bags the May 2021 Security Patch update

A couple of weeks earlier, Samsung has spun the May 2021 Security Patch update to the Galaxy A8 (2018) smartphone. Now, it’s the Galaxy A8+ tasting the same update. The update bears the build number A730FXXU7CUD4, and it is rolling out in Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Laos.

If we go ahead with the changelog, the new firmware adds the Google RCS (Rich Communication Service) feature and adds the latest security patch. Apart from that, the company has not included any other changes to the device. Nonetheless, you will be able to experience all the changes while utilizing your gadget if added.

Note: It’s worth noting that the update is following the phase-wise rollout, and as a result, it may take a few days or weeks or some time months.

In the meantime, the Galaxy A8+ users from the above countries can make a straightforward way to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates. It is also suggested to maintain at least 60% of charging before updating to prevent carrier data charges.
