A month after the launch of the Galaxy A72, Samsung has now begun sending out the April 2021 Security Patch update. If we go with the update, it weighs nearly 124.25MB in size, and it can be identified on any of these firmware versions: A725FXXU1AUD2/ A725FODM1AUD1/ A725FXXU1AUD2. Currently, the new updating is taking place in Indian markets, and we can expect a wider release within the next few days.

As per the changelog, the latest brings the April 2021 Security Patch, and on behalf of that, it doesn’t assemble with any new features or changes. As said, the update might also incorporate device stability improvements, bug fixes, new and/or enhanced features, improvements to performance, etc.
Note: Like all the other updates, it is as following the staggered rollout, and it is estimated to reach all the units within the next few days.
Nonetheless, the Galaxy A72 users will receive a pop-up notification when the update arrives on their device. You can also check the update manually by heading over to Settings>Software updates>Check for the updates.

The Galaxy A72 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display coupled with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 ratio, etc. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB internal storage.
