Samsung starts rolling out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy A50s

After the successful rollout of the Android 11 update to the Galaxy A50 users, Samsung has now started turning out the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy A50s users. The update can be identified on the firmware version A507FNXXU5DUB6, and it is currently limited to Vietienem markets only.

Surprisingly, Samsung has released this update one month before its schedule. The update packs with the March 2021 Security Patch, bug fixes, optimizations, etc. The update basically incorporates Android 11 features like Notification history, Chat bubbles, Media controls, Permissions, etc. However, you will encounter every one of the new changes and highlights while using your device.

The company is sending the update in a staggered way. If you a Galaxy A50s user from Vietnam, a notification would appear automatically if the update hits your device. You can also navigate to Settings>Software updates to manually check the update status.
