From the past few weeks, Samsung is on a streaking in steering out several new updates to the smartphones as per the schedule. Presently, it’s the Galaxy A42 5G’s chance to taste the May 2021 Security Patch update. The most recent update bears the build version A426NKSU1AUD3, and at the moment, it is limited only to the Korean markets.

What’s new/Changed?
If we go ahead with the changelog, like the previous May 2021 updates, this firmware also loads with improvements for the Quick Share function, adds May 2021 Security Patch, and makes changes to other system-related things. There’s nothing in this security update apart from the changes as mentioned above. As usual, we have dropped the changelog below.

On the off chance, if you are a Galaxy A42 5G user from Korea, a notification will hit your device automatically when the update reaches your mobile. Alternatively, the update can be checked manually by make a feeling to Settings>Software Updates.
Note: As always, the OTA updates follow the greyscale rollout. So, it may take a few days or weeks to appear on all the units.
