Samsung Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01 receiving One UI 3.1 update

After the Galaxy A40, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and others, Samsung has begun seeding out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, and the Galaxy M01. The firmware versions and availability information of these updates are as follows.

Firmware Versions & Availability

  • Galaxy A31: A315FXXU1CUD4 (Russia and UAE)/ A315GDXU1CUD4 (Malaysia)
  • Galaxy A41: A415FXXU1CUD4 (Russia)
  • Galaxy M01: M015GXXU3BUD9

The changelog of these updates remains a mystery at the moment. However, it is confirmed that all three updates will come with the latest April 2021 Security Patch and One UI 3.1 Skin.

Hence, the update incorporates, One UI 3.1 like Google Discover feed integration, Google Home Device Controls, Google Duo integration, Video call effects, and others. On the other hand, the update includes Android 11 features like Dynamic media controls, a Schedule dark theme, A more useful power button menu, Grant temporary permission to apps, etc.

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, and the Galaxy M01 users from the countries will be able to see a notification if the update arrives on their device. Alternatively, the update can also be checked manually by making a beeling to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates. It is also suggested to maintain at least 60% of charging and switch over to a WiFi network to avoid interruptions.
