Earlier this year, Samsung has promised that it will provide four years of security patch updates to the devices launched in and after 2019. The giant has recently announced that it will release security patch updates for five years but only for the selected models. Below is the full list of Samsung devices getting five years of security updates.
The five year update plan only for the enterprise model and the standard models will have to stick to the four year update plan only. Nonetheless, we can expect the five years updates for new devices launching in 2021.

Below is the list of devices getting the security patch updates for five years from their launch date. Unfortunately, as said earlier, the list includes only enterprise models such as the Galaxy S Series, Note Series, and a few recently released tablets.

Here’s the list of devices getting the security patch updates for four years from their launch. You can also check the four year security updates eligible updates list. Even though the list includes all the devices, the updates will be rolled monthly or quarterly or biannually.
