Galaxy M42 5G hosts a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G (8 nm) Chipset. The device comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

For photography, the Galaxy M42 5G equips a quad rear camera, assembling a 48-MP Primary camera, an 8-MP ultrawide angle lens, a 5-MP macro camera, and a 5-Mp depth sensor. At the front, there’s a 20-MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Out of the box, the phone runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1 Skin. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery, which pairs with support for Fast charging up to 15W.
