Samsung is continuously updating its eligible gadgets to the latest security patches every month. Recently, many devices have joined the July update party. Now, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (LTE) and Galaxy Tab Active 2 have become the latest tablets to join the July 2021 Security Patch update list.
The firmware for the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is taking place on build number T295XXU4CUG2, and currently, it’s limited to Switzerland markets only. At the same time, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 from Ukraine has begun picking the update on firmware number T395XXSCCUF4. As of now, there’s no information available about the update in other regions. However, we can expect the wider rollout to follow soon within the next few days.
Both the updates share the same changelog/release note. According to it, the company has not added any new features or changes to the device. It includes only the regular monthly security patch. If Samsung makes any noticeable changes, then you will be undergoing them while using your device.
As always, the new updates are also turning away in a phased rollout. So, users must wait for a few more days to get the latest update. In the meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab users from the above location can steer to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates.
