At the beginning of this month, Samsung has spun the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) tablet. Now, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) version is getting the Android 11 update. The update can be identified on the build number T515XXU8CUF2, and it is currently rolling out only in Vietnam.
The Android 11 update for the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) appears with the latest June 2021 Security Patch, performance improvements, enhancements, Android 11 and One UI 3.1 features, refreshed User Interface (UI), etc.
The firmware dispatches with a couple of new add-ons like New icons, Lock screen widgets, image categories in Dynamic Lock screen, Trash in Messages, the ability to edit multiple linked contacts from a single screen option, emoji and sticker suggestions, and much more.
On the other hand, the update should also include Android 11 and One UI 3.1 features like Dynamic media controls, built-in screen recorder, Schedule dark theme, Conversation notifications, Notification history, Chat bubbles, Video call effects, Eye comfort shield, Object eraser, and so once. However, you will be able to experience all the changes while using your device.
As said earlier, the new update is currently limited only to the Vietnamese markets, and it may take some time to reach all the other markets. In the meantime, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) users can head to Settings>software updates and check for the updates. If the update shows up there, then download and install it to undergo a new experience. Also, make sure to switch over to a Wi-Fi network before downloading to avoid carrier data charges.
