Starting from May 2021, all the other smartphone brands like Google Pixel, OnePlus, OPPO, iQOO, and others have begun experiencing the Android 12 Beta updates. And by July, almost all the companies have released announced their Beta programs. In the meanwhile, we never had a word from Samsung about the Beta release. However, today, a new poster has surfaced on the community forums confirming the One UI 4.0 (Android 12) Beta for the Galaxy S21 Series.
A few weeks earlier, Samsung has started testing the Android 12 Beta for the Galaxy S21 Family. However, the Beta was limited to companies boundaries. Now, a piece of good news for the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra users is finally here. Today, a poster with the title “Galaxy S21 series One UI 4 beta is coming soon” has been spotted on Samsung community forums.
As the Galaxy S21 Lineup is the highest price range smartphone from Samsung, the Beta update will undoubtedly be released initially for them. And the same thing is mentioned in the poster.
One UI 4.0 Beta release date
According to Google, by the end of August 2021, the Android 12 operating system will reach Platform Stability. Once the Android 12 Stable version goes live, we can expect the One UI 4 Beta release.
On the other hand, a community manager in Samsung Korean forums has leaked a few details about the One UI 4.0 Beta. However, the post is deleted after a few hours. According to the post, the Galaxy S21 Lineup will receive the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Beta in September. It means the Beta rollout for the Galaxy S21 owners will start at the end of September, and later it will be expanded to all the countries in October.
Forthcoming to the Galaxy S20 Series, the One UI 4.0 Beta is likely expected to hit the users by the end of October, and it will be widely released to all the countries in November.
Apart from these, there’s no more information available at the moment. However, we can expect more details to anticipate in the coming days via the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11, 2021.
