June 2021 Security Patch update in now rolling out to the Galaxy Note 20 Series

Many devices, including the Galaxy S21 Series (Second update), Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy Note 10 Series, have secured new updates with the latest security patches in the past few hours. Now, it’s the Galaxy Note 20 Series tasting the June 2021 Security Patch update. The new update carries the firmware version N98xxxUES2DUE1 and N98xxXS2DUF1, respectively.

In terms of availability, the new security patch update for the Galaxy Note 20 Series is rolling out in many regions like the USA and Europe. Furthermore, the firmware is also taking place on different carrier-based smartphones: Sprint, AT&T, Xfinity Mobile, and others. The new update weighs around 248.66MB, and some times size may vary if you have not installed the previous updates.

According to the changelog, the new update adds only the latest security patch. Besides that, Samsung has not included any minor or major changes. However, we can still expect user-reported bug fixes and improvements.

As of now, the new security patch is live only on limited units. However, we can expect the broader release of this update within the next few days. To manually check the update status, head to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates. If the update appears there, download and install it to experience the latest security patch.
